Hefei Rail Transit Line 5 (HEFEIMETROLINE5) is a subway line under trial operation in Hefei, Anhui Province, China. Construction started on January 5, 2017, and the southern section (from Guiyang Road Station to Wangcheng Lake West Station), the northern section is expected to open for trial operation at the end of December 2021, with the logo color Liuyaqing.
Hefei Rail Transit Line 5 is roughly "S"-shaped, starting from Jiqiao Road Station in Luyang District in the north, passing through Luyang District, Shushan District, Baohe District, and to Guiyang Road Station in Baohe District in the south.
As of December 2020, the southern section of Hefei Rail Transit Line 5 has a total length of 25.2 kilometers and a total of 20 stations, connecting important passenger distribution areas such as Binhu New Area, Provincial Administrative Center, Baohe Industrial Park, and South High-speed Railway Station. The train uses 6-section B-type drum train, and the project has a total of 46 trains.
